One thing I am noticing is that some of the vets not used to ferrets don't
know how very common insulinomae are, and if a state or a vet makes a call
to sacrifice due to possible rabies symptoms two things which can be
mentioned are hind end weakness and seizures. When teaching about the
Compendium in your state it may also be wise to let folks know how common
insulinoma is so that the symptoms are not accredited to the wrong thing if
a sick one WITHOUT other possible rabies symptoms comes in.

Don't forget this additional resource for the Compendium: 1-888-FERRET1.
You'll need to get an SASE to them. Glad to see this document all over the
place.
