One thing I am noticing is that some of the vets not used to ferrets don't know how very common insulinomae are, and if a state or a vet makes a call to sacrifice due to possible rabies symptoms two things which can be mentioned are hind end weakness and seizures. When teaching about the Compendium in your state it may also be wise to let folks know how common insulinoma is so that the symptoms are not accredited to the wrong thing if a sick one WITHOUT other possible rabies symptoms comes in.
