I just wanted to post and see if anyone (paging Dr. Williams, we have a
clueless ferret owner on line 1, Dr. Williams) can shed any light on what
I think is just a cold, but I'm a little concerned.

Scooter has been coughing and sneezing a bit for the last few days,
although that seems to be tapering off. He is fairly lethargic,
however--when he plays, he plays hard, but he's sleeping a lot lately.
I've also noticed a couple very loose stools today. They're formed but
very soft, everything else being normal. If this keeps up we're going to
the vet.

My theory that he has a cold is backed up by the fact that I now have one.
Am I way off base for thinking I can get a cold from my ferret? He looks
fine otherwise: eyes and nose look good, shiny thick coat, good whiskers,
etc. If anyone can shed some light here I'd appreciate it.
