The SKU's vary from locality to locality for items like wood stove pellets.
Home Depot buys pellets from various vendors, and the SKU is tied to a
particular vendors product.  I no longer work for HD, so don't have a way
to look up SKU's for people anymore.
 
Melanie, did you try regular stove stores, or only the discount HI stores?
Here in the Pacific Northwest, pellets from stove stores are only about 50
cents more per 40# bag than at Home Depot.
 
Stove Chow (an eastern product) is stating right on the bag that their
pellets make good ferret litter.  Can someone post information on Stove
Chow, like maybe an 800 phone number, so people can contact them to see
where their product is available?
