Ferret in need of help at Twentynine Palms

I found out yesterday about a ferret at the Twentynine Palms Marine Base
in California that needs rescueing ASAP.  We all know what happens to
ferrrets if found on a military base in California.  If there is anyone
close to there that would be willing to help out, either with adopting
the ferret or transporting it closer to LA, please e-mail me directly
so we can make arrangements.  I have already contacted the owner and
she is awaiting our help!
