Hi Ferreteers,
Tonight I had Bogart and Hugh, the 2 big albino males out for evening run
time. As usual, I was sitting quietly -this time for some reason kneeling
on my haunches. They were doing their usual sniffing, Is it really Mom, Are
we safe routine while I watched and praised them for not biting, being big
beautifu boys, etc - all the mushy stuff you can't help saying. Bogart was
sniffing along my leg when he suddenly dove under my body! Tail wagging
(bet that's the first time for him!), Hugh dove after him. I was laughing
so hard I could barely keep from falling on top of them! Bogart ran around
me to the front, saw Hugh disappearing under me & dove after him. There I
was, kneeling on my floor while these 2 incredible sweeties used me to play
roundie-round! I'm glad I was in sweat pants.... I also was able to get
some cute photos of them playing with a hard rubber toy mine had gotten
bored with & left under the bed. What a nice time we all had. No nipping,
just ferret fun. They both dooked tonight - no war dances yet, but it won't
be long.

On to adopting. Since I can't get the application scanned without much more
money than makes sense, I'm requesting snail mail addresses for interested
folk. I expect Bogart, Hugh, Boris, and Natasha to be ready in the next two
weeks, and the faster the apps go out & get returned the faster you can meet
your new babies. I'll send out the apps, I'll take them to committee when
they're returned, & we'll have answers pretty fast - these guys need their
own homes, and if I keep fostering them, I may be worse than Carin is about
her beautiful adoptees. If one of these four don't work, we have others
throughout the state & will be able to arrange adoptions this month.

Time for Bogart & Hugh to go to bed & for Boris & Natasha to come out & play.

Happy ferreting,
Paula
