...and try to help this poor lady whose husband took her ferrets?

I emailed and asked her if perhaps the man who obtained one of her
ferrets (assuming it is hers) would be willing to swap for another -
perhaps contact a shelter or rescue in her area and see if they'd be
willing to donate a new fuzzy for this man, so that he has a ferret,
and she could at least get one of her babies back. It might be a start,
at least.

Unfortunately, she doesn't even know how to begin (nor, TBH, would I!!)

I know that there are a number of you here on FML that help out folks
all the time. I also know that many of you have access to resources
that I would never even think of. This poor lady has been asking for
help for SIX MONTHS (not here, specifically), yet it seems that no one
has helped her. what would you do if you were in her position?? She
isn't getting help from authorities; so far, the young man refuses to
give up her ferret (though I question why he even bothered to contact
her unless he was willing to swap or something...reward, maybe? Dunno).
I also know that many, many members of FML have big hearts. The post
the other day, as I understand it, was her first to the FML. PLEASE
don't brush her aside, ignore her, or assume that she's "scamming"
somehow. (If she is, I know for a fact that she's been asking for help
for a while now; I first saw her query for help on FB).

Can some of you PLEASE try to help her? Please?
