It's that time of the year again. I feel like you may all be tired of my
Christmast Plea's but please do listen Again.

At this joyous season there are literally hundreds of Ferret Shelters out
there that need your help. Yes, all of you ar out there shopping for your
family and loved ones - there are little loved ones too - those that are in
the Ferret Shelters - many ill, sick, and recuperating ferrets - they NEED
your Christmas Joy - your Christmas Love.

While you are out there shopping why not pick up an extra tube of Nurtircal,
an extra bag of Ferret food, and extra Hammock. When you go home why not
check your closet for a bed sheet, pillow case, maybe even and old sweat
shirt you don't need anymore. How about a small gift certificate to your
local shelter that reads: TWO HOURS OF VOLUNTEER WORK.

Truthfully this is the time of year that those of us who work in Ferret
Shelters hate the most - you see we know that between Christmas and April
15th we will have an influx of the "impulse buyers" discared ferrets. Those
that were bought at Christmas time and forgotten two week after.

PLEASE -PLEASE-PLEASE - remenber your local ferret shelter, if you don't own
a ferret remember you local Animal shelter. Surely you have something to
give. See the list of items above. You might not have money to by the
laxatone, or the Nutrical, or the hammock - but don't you have a bed sheet
or T-shirt - and prehaps you have some Time that you could donate.

Merry Christmas to all
