My roommate is a consultant for a large firm and travels frequently for her
job. I recently wrote that she just got her first ferret (Cosette). For
the most part, I've given her some books and advice, but she wants to be
able to travel with her ferret and carry it around. She had asked me to
help with that....but I'm having problems with that one, too. One of my
ferrets, Reverend Maynard, is a hand-baby. Inside he'll let you carry him
around forever, but as soon as you step outside he's unmanagable. Edie, on
the other hand, will sleep with you, but has always been reluctant to be
carried around. I don't know how to train them to react outside as they do
inside. Any ideas? I'm sure that this has been answered in the FML before,
so private posts are fine. Katie (my roommate) is in Columbus on a project
and would like to have Cosette (illegally, since it's a FFZ) along, but
Cosette is still a kit and pretty unmanagable outside. I'm working on it...

On an interesting trivia note...Did you know that on radio commericals
(especially for cars and stuff) where they offer a great sounding deal and
then at the end tell you all the disclaimers and terms in a very very QUICK
voice, that those quickly spoken disclaimers to the previous info are called
"weasels?" I think my ferrets have mastered that art, too. They should be
in broadcast advertising...I think they'd do well.

Kelly.
Edie: I'm such an angel.
(I'mgonnastealaraisinandyoucan'tdoanythingaboutitbecauseI'mtoocute)<--her
weasel.
Cosette: Wow, that was fast!
Missing the Reverend Maynard, who's on vacation in sunny San Antonio.
