NYC Health Dept. and Mayor DeBlasio are reconsidering the current ban
on the domestic ferret. I heard about it last night thru Jimmy Fallon's
monologue. A member of NYCFerrets.com, Ariel Jasper wrote DeBlasio a
letter asking him to reconsider the 1999 ban set forth by then mayor
Rudy Giuliani. I couldn't help but to think," What an idiot,
considering the National Compendium of Animal Rabies Control set forth
a recommendation for quarantine of ferret exposure just the year
before." Look on the bright side........ Mayor DiBlasio is obviously
an educated and compassionate leader. Lucky New Yorkers!
