[BIG for some reason my post from yesterday was truncated - here is the
rest of it] [Yes, it did seem a bit weird! BIG]

I totally agree - I know its no fun for me and can't be for the exhibitors.
Smaller rings (maybe more rings) mean that the show should move faster and
be more exciting for all. Care seminars and talks are one of the things
that seem to be missing from shows lately - and I personally would love to
see them come back. Limiting entries per household may be something to
consider - I can see both sides and why it would be good and bad. The
biggest dilemma for this would be: how many is too many? As a judge, one
of the most frustrating (and time wasting) situations that I run into is
that one person(or a few people) is showing quite a few ferrets - and does
not have their ferret ready on time. Waiting for them to bring the ferret
to the ring and holding up those that were there on time is an aggravation.
Having to stop judging, find the announcer and call out the entry number.
In some cases, having to break out the show book, look up the entry number
and then find them! Its one thing to know that the ferret is being judged
in another ring: it something else to know that the person(s) showing them
can't keep up with who needs to be ready in what ring. If you consider
limiting entries - will it be by the ring or by household? Will the limits
be different for Championship vs. Specialty? Will this be used as a tool
to speed up the process, or to punish a few?

One final thing:
Sandee - we've had a few departures here - and I'm sure that they have
already crossed, but keep an eye out for these characters:

Trella - she will finally rejoin Tribble......
Ben - the little man who had his urethra rerouted and
Misha - who joins Yod He Vawhe, Bruiser and Pele

They are all good ferrets - but will drive ya nuts - especially those 4
now reunited. Dijon is alone and the only one missing from that group.
Hopefully she will stay with her mom for a little bit yet.
