ferrets in drawers

I gave up trying to keep them out of dresser drawers years ago- they sleep
in the bottom drawer all the time.  I used to keep t-shirts in there- but I
would pull out a "white" one and it would be brown from the oils.  So I put
socks in that drawer instead.  The ferrets didn't seem to mind.  They also
climb up through the drawers until they get to the top one- then push it
open and get on top of the dresser- which now has nothing on it.
