I got lots of great e-mails and advice from people regarding ferrets
and cats living together. For all the experienced cat and ferret
owners who shared their experiences, I wanted to let you know I really
appreciate you taking the time to share with me. I feel much more
confident now about adding a cat to our family. As with any new
addition, I will be sure to do proper quarantine, introduction, and
supervision as needed.

P.s. Random comment about ferret poop:
Someone had posted on FML awhile back about ferret poop keeping moles
out of the yard. I had told several people about this, and when my
partner's landscaping friend heard about it she really wanted to try
it. Sure enough it has been working on the handful of yards she tried
it on. We have to gather ferret poop in a jar every so often for our
friend now, lol.
