Might I suggest that if folks are going to write, they contact the network
and their local affiliate as well?  Additionally, writing to the HSUS or
ASPCA might be of some value.  While on the one hand they may find the
unwarranted dunking of the ferret a small issue, on the other they may
recognize that letting such a nationally televised incident go unchalleged
is one more brick in the wall of insensitivity to animal cruelty as we have
seen even on a more violent scale.  Just a suggestion.
