Thank you to all who prayed for Lizzi and who wrote to her.  She is the
kind and gentle woman whose Fang died not long ago-her only ferret.  Her
letter that I just received has me in tears.  Your friendship made a HUGE
difference to her.  Thank you for the cards sent and notes written.
 
She has been beaten down by seemingly endless unresolved problems, death,
deception, exhaustion.  Who has not at some point in life?  We reminded
her once again of Gods love and the friendships forged on this list.  Who
does not need a kind word, and acknowldegment of the death of a parent?
 
You guys are wonderful.
 
My thanks to Jim, Renee, Chris, Candice, Lynn, and Katherine for duck info.
It cannot eat any solids yet I was told, but is eating off of my finger
the mushed worms.  It fits entirely in the palm of my small hand, and I
can close my hand over it.  It is stronger today and can take a few steps.
Once it falls over, it cannot upright.  Yet it can swim like a pro in a
soup bowl. :-0
 
Gotta go.  3 other old ladies besides me are going to help me now.  We are
all totally mesmerized.  The voice is a little stronger and louder.  And
this miniscule thing is very messy.  Worm guts get splattered every which
way.
 
But we have been warned that it was probably rejected because something is
wrong with it.  So it is not to be expected that it will live.  I will just
do my best to save it-- one day at a time.
