Because there is a huge population of ferrets and ferret vets in
California :)  They deserve the opportunity to learn about the latest
in ferret medicine and techniques.
 
Our goal is to move the vet conference around the country so that more
vets have the opportunity to attend, whereas they may not if it's always
held on the east coast.
