Hi Guys,
 
First I would like to send out a prayer and a word for peace and
tranquility for all of those who have lost babies no matter how long
ago it was.
 
I would like to hear from those that have used dexamethasone for
insulinoma.  I currently have 2 guys on prednisolone.  One, Fuzzy, is
doing okay but not great because he has gotten too fat.  The other boy
Diablo just isn't doing that great.  Too thin, just kinda shuffles
around.  I had him on prednisolone before and took him off it and
maintained him with diet for 6 months.  Then he dropped to about 50-55 bg
and has stayed there.  Both of the boys are also adrenal and on melatonin
and monthly Lupron.
 
I was talking to someone that has had really good luck with the Dex.
instead of the pred.  SO, I was just wondering of others experiences by
using Dex. either after using Pred and also instead of using Pred from
the get go.  What kind of side effects are you seeing?  What ages were
your ferrets when started and if they are now gone how long did they
live and with what quality of life.
 
I know these are hard questions to think about but I would really
