Please feel free to join our Ferret Adrenal Insulinoma Mailing List (FAIML).
I am a very faithful FML reader and that is my ferret medium, but I started
FAIML because I felt a place was needed to focus on adrenal (and now
insulinoma) disease.  I felt so helpless when our fur kid Percy got adrenal
disease, and I couldn't find a really experienced vet surgeon, that I began
forming a group of e-mail friends as support, and the list grew from that.
We now have a small, but supportive, membership of more than 160 adrenal
moms and dads.  I always encourage people to cross post to the FML and
FAIML, so that the adrenal news and help is available from the broadest base
of fuzzy lovers.
 
I'm happy to send out more information about the list to anyone that asks.
I encourage people to join the list, though, rather than asking me for
"advice", as I'm not in any way, shape or form, an expert on adrenal
disease, and in even a BIGGER non-way, -shape, or -form, not a vet (though
how I wish I'd chosen this route when I was a carefree pre-med student,
then creative writing major, then, sigh, it gets no more idealistic than
finally graduated in Greek and Latin Literature, which has gotten me many
great jobs ;)))))ppppp & ROTFL.
