I am very sorry and understand if you thought that I went too far in my
post. I just didn't think much of it because we have a sort of innocence
in our family and we very are open about things in our family. I forget
at times that others don't always enjoy such innocence. We never think
of body parts, nor underwear as dirty. Ever. We also never attach
derogatory ideas or stereo types to things either. Hence why my son was
teasing his brother with "pink" undies. You are right in that the post
was off topic. So for that I do apologize as well.

However, you greatly misunderstood the meaning of some of what I said and
of the event itself. In fact, a bit of it was "out there". Referring to
a males penis as a "pickle" in the post was just a more cute and polite
way to referring to genitalia. It has nothing to do with lack size at
all. Like I said, it's in innocence so size issues, etc, never cross our
minds in this house. The sock was not to imply that he was small in size
either (what is this odd obsession with small size of male members you
have anyway?). He put one in the undies himself, for parody and to make
fun of men who focus on penis's, and to make it more visual and funny.
I added to his own joke he had already deployed with the comment that he
needed another sock so as to join in his fun. I was not the one that
wore a thong with a sock in it for a joke. He did. He is not ashamed
of himself or of what others might think of his antics, and he would
not have run around the house in the open (one of the boy's friends was
here by the way), if others knowledge of this embarrassed him. And I
always get permission for anything I share. In fact I was probably so
distracted by our little joke and our love of sharing the story with
others (yes, he shares it with friends, company, etc as well) that I
forgot that it could possibly offend someone who dislikes anything off
color. The only thing I myself was offended at actually, was your
calling our families fun "trash".

You voiced your opinion (cowardly so, behind anonymity), I apologized
for the possibility of going too far on list and for being off topic as
well as voicing my opinion. May I ask now that the subject is closed on
this list (unless you'd like to continue off list WITHOUT the cowardice
of hiding behind anonymity) so as to not subject the other reads with an
argument or negativity. They are just innocent bystanders.

Thank you,
Wolfy

[Moderator's note: Wolfy, and the FML, accept my apologies. After some
reflection, I do agree the reply was not appropriate as an anonymous
post. Your original post might have best been left off too since it
was rather off-topic, but all that means is that I might have screwed
up twice, not once. (Though note, posts telling a personal story of
a subscriber generally ARE allowed, so it's not clear cut there, but
rather decided on a case-by-case basis.) BIG]
