Hi all --

This is funny -- apparently my cousin who lives quite far away has started
selling some kind of wonderful new air cleaner/ozone thingy -- must be
spendy because there was no price list included.

Anyway -- I received a letter from her (have never received a letter from
her ever before) about this product, and the letter said something like, "
I understand you raise/rescue ferrets. My sister's friend has a ferret,
and no offense, but they are smelly little creatures ..."

And no, I didn't take offense, but I thought to myself immediately -- "Yes,
but ... I *like* the ferrety smell of my ferrets!"

Especially the smell of sleepy ferrets -- I thought the posts about that,
and Randy sniffing his ferrets when he got home, were hysterical because
I love the smell of my sleepy ferrets. I take them out of the cage, put
their bodies to my nose and inhale deeply.

I don't know if I want a machine in my house that might remove that sweet
scent.

Litter box smell I can live without, but if I scoop and sift the pellets
daily even that odor isn't strong. I've made my friends promise to tell
me if my home smells bad when they walk in the door. They assure me that
although they can smell the slight musky scent of the ferrets, it is not
strong or offensive.

Anyway -- too funny -- I suppose they thought I was practically a definite
sell on this new air cleaner. And I might try one out -- but way more
because I'm a smoker than because I'm a ferret owner!

Love to all fuzzies, peace to all who have lost fuzzies.
