- Something touches you when you are in the shower and you don't jump a mile.
- The "necessities" that you have in your purse include three leashes and
  harnesses.
- If you can't take the ferrets outside, it's "too dang hot" otherwise the
  heat doesn't bother you.
 
- You see an animal book on the desk and automatically start to look through
  it to find the ferret pictures.
- The coworker who shoos you away from the animal book immediently guesses
  that you were looking for ferret pictures, even though you hadn't gotten
  to them yet.
- You consider ferritone one of life's little necessities.
