Hey Val,
 
You are not alone with the snoring ferrets...all 3 of my ferrets will
snore, squeak, occasionally scream, or fuzz out while sleeping.  One of
mine actually snores ALL of the time, you hear him take a breath in and
then breathe out like someone blowing a raspberry.  Is it strange...well
not for my house.
 
With the exception of myself (I understand that I only snore if I am
really sick) everyone in my house snores....all 3 of my ferrets, my puppy
(he can put most PEOPLE to shame) and my husband...I guess I just get
used to it. :)
