Everyone- I know that this may not be appropriate for this list, but I want
to post here anyway.  I am posting to every group to which I am a member.
 
There was a post made to the Petsmart Acmepet ferret bulletin board
yesterday (3/19) that was made using 'my' name.  The post was made by
jackalope.
 
THIS IS NOT ME!
 
I have never been to Acmepet before.  I have never posted to any bulletin
boards.  I don't read bulletin boards.  I have sent mail to the abuse
address for Acmepet and I hope that they can help me clear this up.
 
In the meantime, please be careful of fake posts.  As far as I can tell, on
this board, you can sign any name you want to any post, and no one is the
 
wiser because email addresses are not listed.
 
Also, any advice that any one can give me on how to pursue the matter
further would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, I have called NJ Fish and Game.  The information in the post
in question on acmepet is completely and totally false.  It is total
fabrication.
