Mike,

Sounds like your ferret has ulcers. Ask your vet to do a 4-6 week run
of antibiotics. Metronidazole and Amoxi together, plus Carafate, works
well I believe on ulcers. There may be other combinations of
antibiotics, it all depends on what your vet wants to try.

If it's not ulcers, it can be lymphoma. But ulcers are more common.
