Hi Everyone,

recently adopted two ferrets from the local ferret association (Sonya, and
Duster, introduced recently), and my girlfriend has noticed something that
has us both slightly concerned. When our ferrets decide to miss the paper
we have down for them, their urine is extremely sticky, by sticky, I mean I
can feel my shoes stick if I walk over the area. Duster recently had
adrenal surgery, one gland removed, the other one may be affected as well,
but he is recovering well.

Is the sticky urine something we should be worried about, or was it probably
just a symptom of the adrenal problem?

I would just like to thank Mr. Gruber (Bill, BIG, Mr. Moderator) for the
wonderful job he does, and also to thank all of you for taking the time to
take part in this list. Some of the sources of knowledge out there are
absolutely incredible, and very valuable for all ferret owners.

Here's hoping you all had a good holiday season, and the new year brings the
best to you and your ferrets.

Nigel
