Hello Everyone,
 
Just wanted to ask you to keep two ferrets in your prayers. They are
not mine and are not the shelters yet but they are supposed to come
in around 2-4 today.

One is 5 and one is 6 :-(. I asked her why she wasn't keeping them and
she said that she is getting a divorce and right now they are still at
her husbands house and he isn't taking care of them or anything. I
guess he told her she best get them out of there or he is going to
open the door and throw them out :-(.

I asked her why she didn't just take them with her and she said she
isn't allowed pets in the apartment that she is living at such a sad
situation.

I pray they will be OK until she gets them to me and not get depressed
when she leaves them. They have never been kept in a cage and she isn't
happy about that but I assured her they would do just fine in a cage as
long as they get play time.

It is the fact that they won't see her is what I am most concerned
about. They are supposed to be here this after noon some time. Please
keep them in your prayers.

They will have to be quarantined until they get ADV tested, updated on
shots and a good examine before they can go in the big ferret room with
the rest. They will be in quarantine at least 10 days if not more.
Depends on when I can get them to the vets and get them ADV tested.
Thank You all for your prayers for them. When I get them I will get
pictures and pass them on. If anyone would like to help with the
expense of getting them ADV tested and shots and exam you can send
a donation to me at the address below or you can make a check out to
DR Wagner and send it to me. I will see that he gets it.

There is not a vet office you can send it too. Where we go is a vets
office but he has some kind of arrangements with that vet so we cannot
not send money down to this vet office. I have to give it directly to
him. Between him and I we keep track of it.
