I found a ferret in my yard last night, and knowing he would not survive, I
took him in. He came right to me, and is very tame (obviously someone's
pet). The only problem is, when I was cleaning the cage I have him in for
now, I noticed that his feces has what seems to be light red blood coating
it. I have only owned one ferret before, and it never really had health
problems, and I do not know what could be wrong (if anything) with this one.
I am going to take him to the vet ASAP (tomorrow morning), but I would
prefer to know in advance what some of the possibilities of illnesses are.
I do not have alot of money, so I can not afford any unnecessary tests for a
pet I may not get to keep.
