I've been on this list for a little over a year now, and still haven't
figured this one out. Can a ferret get ECE more than once? I understand
about not bringing a newbie into an ECE infected house without precautions,
and that the newbie can bring ECE with it. But once they have had it, can
they get it again?

As for the bullseye, I suspected Lyme disease as well. One of my biology
instructors said that the time lapse in a human from the initial bite to the
onset of symptoms could be as long as one year. *Can* ferrets get lyme
disease? Has anyone ever heard of a dog or cat coming down with it?

I currently have custody of Bob C, and boy, is Elizabeth in trouble! He
said that everybody is giving him bland food (much to his disappointment and
confusion). Hehehehe.

I missed the Bob C Road Show last year, but kept reading about this strange
guy with long hair, who would show up in the middle of the night with glazed
eyes, and had an affinity for socks. I just knew I had to meet this
anomaly. Either this was a rather odd person, or it was a working script
for the X-Files. The jury is still out.

I first met him face to face in January when he was out here doing "bone
stuff." This initial visit went really well so, when he announced his Road
Show, I volunteered.

He shows up at my door at about 8:45 p.m., and one of the first things out
of his mouth is, "This house *needs* a ferret." Hmmm, must have been
brainwashed by the FLO. I showed him the Bay-TV clip of Jeanne Carley and,
upon seeing the ferret in the travel cage, all he could say was, "Awwwww."
Taking pity on him, and considering I am currently ferretless, I offered to
hide his keys. I draw the line at his socks though.

All of you were right. He is funny, intelligent, and has a wicked sense of
humor. I can't out pun him, but I can hold my own for a little while. I
did impress him in my own right: *I* can program my VCR. At last count, I
still had all of my socks, but one of my sandals is missing. If the next
person on Bob's Road Show list finds a grey Birkenstock sandal, please
contact me via the FML.
