All I said yesterday about A/D was that it had high sodium, something
many people (even vets) may not be aware of, especially since the way
they list it on the label makes it appear at a quick glance to be not so
high. I'm a vet assistant and I KNOW A/D is a wonderful food for a great
many things including many duck soup recipes. A/D helped save the life
of my cat several years ago and I certainly don't think everyone should
stop using it. I just think when people choose what ingredients to use
in their duck soup they take into consideration ALL of the health issues
that their ferret is having and be aware that not every duck soup recipe
is apropriate for every ferret. I had never seen it mentioned on list
that A/D was high in Sodium and felt that it was important information
to put out there.
