Urine is INCREDIBLY difficult to get out and yes it does seep to the
padding below.  I use a product called "Anti-Icky Poo", their literature
is fantastic and they have a device to inject their product into the
padding, all reasonably priced IMHO.  It's an enzyme/live bacteria
solution.  I don't pretend it's a "cure all".  I had a dog on pred who
urinated EVERYWHERE.  I'm managed to save everything but one rug which
she would pee on every night while I was sleeping.  I get it from my vet
(it's available through distributors only) I've never seen it anywhere
else but the company that makes it is called Mr. Max.
