I use Clorox Anywhere to do my daily wipes of the cages, and I have
also used the Super Pet Clean Cage cleaner available just about
anywhere, but it is the cheapest at ferret.com. These are used in most
daily items, and once a week my cages are pulled apart and the whole
thing cleaned with warm soapy water. For the little accidents in the
corners of the rooms, I wipe it up and then swipe it with vinegar.
Doesn't help, but I hope. Anyway, that seems to keep all the smells
and yuck down. I personally love the smell of ferrets, but some of my
guests and my boyfriend not so much... :)
