Hi all...

Just have a quick query for you all. I am beginning to gear up for the
next round in the Massachusetts legislative drive. One of our biggest
obstacles is the MSPCA's insistance that ferrets are not suitable pets and
that if ferrets were to become legal that shelters would be overrun with
unwanted ferrets. Now while I will/can/have presented plenty of information
to the contrary, it has had little success.

My new thought is to have testimony from SPCA's of other states contradicting
the MSPCA.

[Stay away from the Toronto Humane Society. They seem to be the local
PETA outlet]

I have heard people talk of SPCA's (I believe that both Texas and Oregon
have been mentioned) that are active in the protection of ferrets. If
anyone knows of a SPCA that fits this description please send me information
about it. (Include address, phone number, official name, and any contacts
within the organization that would be especially good to get in touch
with.) Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks!

Beau
