Well, ok, I haven't sent in quite *that* many posts on this but it sure
seems like it sometimes! Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner has
written to Chief Kapica requesting an investigation to this incident, and
has requested a meeting to review the findings within the next 30 days.
Chief Kapica is out this week, back Mon 11/23, so there probably won't be a
response until after then.

The letter Chief Kapica wrote to Jane is actually dated 11/13, not 11/16 as
I had thought. (So it was written before we began to hound them, which is
actually a positive sign.) I'm not sure if she wants that posted, (so it's
not being posted, at least for now), but it's a nice letter, and invites
her to call when he gets back if she wants to discuss the matter further.

For those who want to fax notes to Chief Kapica (again, please keep notes
as rational as possible), his fax# is (914) 949-7116.

In addition, I have found out Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner's
email is [log in to unmask], for those who wish to cc him on notes sent to
Chief Kapica, or thank him for his support so far. (And on Paul Feiner's
Town of Greenburgh letterhead, he lists his HOME#, how many politicians do
that?!?) If sending emails, it's a nice touch to include the
town/state/country you are from- so they know how far away people are
responding from.

Thanks again, especially to Sharon Pease, who has been working tirelessly
to gather information, Sam Young for the prompt web site updates. And to
all those who have been sending letters, notes of support and signing the
guestbook, it means so much! I'm afraid I'm past the point where I can
respond indivdually to most of you, but I do read all the notes and
guestbook entries and bring them to Jane.

For those who may have missed some of the previous posts, everything
is posted at http://users.1st.net/hammock/ferrets/wchester.htm
(known now to readers of _The_Journal_News_ as the web site of the National
Ferret Association, :)
