Musty Pete Greets Sarah [Pinhead]
 
Musty Pete is wandering through The Meadows, smelling the tall grasses
and watching a pair of Blue Domino flutterbies landing gently on the
wildflowers.  He is just thinking seriously about laying down for a nap
when a BIG voice booms from the blue sky above him.
 
"NO TIME FOR NAPPING MUSTY PETE!  YOU HAVE A SPECIAL LITTLE GIRL ARRIVING
ANY MINUTE NOW!"
 
Pete shrugged, "Yeah, yeah...I'll get over there right away." muttering
to himself, "Man!  That grass was looking sooo comfortable!" "ON MY WAY"
Pete shouts to the sky.
 
As he turned to walk away he bumped right into Roxy the ferret.  "Oh!
Pardon me...I'm so sorry!" said Pete
 
"My mistake!  My mistake!!" "Are you going to the Bridge to meet Sarah??
Can I go with you?  I have missed her so much!  Can I go with you, can I,
can I?  Huh??"
 
Musty Pete just stared in amazement... "Where does ALL that energy come
from??  Is Sarah a friend of yours, Roxy?"
 
"Oh one of my very best friends!  I have missed her!"
 
Pete smiled at her and invited her to join him, on the way he asked,
"Roxy?  Tell me about Sarah?"
 
"Well...her nickname [one of them] was Pinhead, she was also known as the
" GOT CHEERIOS" Girl
 
She was the ClubMedFerret Mascot in 2004 !!
 
She and I were at the same shelter/home
 
We LOVED it there with Rose and everyone else.
 
I think Sarah arrived at Little Feet Ferret Rescue a long time ago....."
 
Suddenly Roxy gasped... "Oh No!  I should have let Denzel, Twinkee &
Dexter know I was coming with you"
 
"And who are they?" asked Musty Pete
 
"They are Sarah's friends too!"
 
"Well" sighed Pete, "You can bring Sarah over to see them as soon as she
gets settled"
 
They had arrived at the Bridge and a cool, refreshing breeze blew across
their faces, forcing their eyes closed.  When they opened their eyes,
Sarah was standing in front of them.  "Wh-Who are you?" she asked Musty
Pete "and what is this place??"
 
"I am Musty Pete, here to greet you to the Rainbow Bridge , and I believe
you already know Roxy." Pete gestured in Roxy's direction.
 
Sarah shrieked "ROXY??  Is that really you??" The girls hugged and kissed
and jumped for joy.  They were so happy to see one another.
 
But, after a long hug, Sarah again turned to Musty Pete.  "Is this where
I will live from now on?" she asked
 
"What will happen to my family and all my friends?"
 
Musty Pete smiled politely at the petite girl ferret and said, "Yes
sweetheart, this is where you will live from now on.  At some time in
the future your friends and family members will travel here and join
all of us.  It is a beautiful place... We have the Rainbow Bridge, The
Pool Of Remembrance, The Great Tree Of Hope, The Meadows... many, many
special places for you to explore." Musty Pete sighed at the thought of
his glorious community.
 
"You also already have friends here, doesn't she Roxy?"
 
"Why YES!" blurted Roxy "Dexter and Denzel and Twinkee too!!"
she skipped and danced as she talked
 
"I'll take you to see them very soon!"
 
Musty Pete put his big forearm across Sarah's little shoulders and peered
down at her, "Now, let's get you settled in and we'll give you the grand
tour!" Sarah smiled up at Pete and the three of them began walking toward
the Newbie Dormitories to find Sarah a hammy to call her own.
