My two year old Giesela has started to smell distinctly more ferret like.  I
usually only bathe 3 or 4 times a year so I thought I'd give that a shot
since it was about time (I don't think bathing really affects how they
smell, I bathe occassionally because since I'm not a ferret I wonder if an
occassional bath might feel good).  Anyway she still smells stronger than
normal.
 
It seems that once quite awhile ago someone mentioned this may be an early
sign of an illness?  Everything else seems fine.  I thought I should ask
just in case.
