Bob C has hit the nail on the head with another great post (Ranting
Nationwide)!  I have felt for a long time that certain ferret
clubs/organizations are more worried about who said what, whose ferrets are
better bred, etc., etc., than the most important element -- ferrets!  I
think egos and that nasty word politics have definitely gotten in their way!
It's too bad that we, the lowly ones, have forgotten what this great country
of ours stands for -- democracy, We the people.  If I can in any way help to
start the ball rolling for a National ferret organization, please -- let's
go for it!
 
I don't mean to step on any toes with the above comments, but I think we
have all learned a great lesson is what transpired over the last 42 days.
We all banned together for Kodo's sake!  Now, let's keep it up and ban
together for all of ferretdom!
 
I know all join me in sending our love and sympathy to the Jacobs.  Please
let's all say a little prayer for Kodo and his family tonight.
