I wrote in a while ago complaining about Newton's bald tail. It was
probably caused by the stress of getting our second ferret and it looked
awful! Even after they were getting along, her tail was still bald, but
just a couple of weeks ago, I noticed thick short fur all over her tail and
now I have a (black-eyed) white ferret with a bright ORANGE tail!!! I have
NO IDEA why... but it seems to be getting whiter as it grows out. Oh well,
orange fur is better than no fur!!!
 
Just a note to let people whose ferret has a bald tail know- there is hope!
