Bitter Apple Version?

My local petstores don't have Bitter Apple, but they do have something
called "Bitter Break" by Pet Gold.  It says it's for dogs, cats, and horses.
Does anyone know how it works on ferrets?  Here are the ingredience( in
order:
 
Deionized Water
Denatonium Benzoate
Methyl Paraben
Propyl Paraben
 
Are they ferret safe? Any info would be much appreciated.
