This is VERY common for kits when they are first separated from other
ferrets, especially at 6-9 weeks old.  I think they sound like little
geese, honking away!
 
Try giving Tidbit a small stuffed animal to cuddle with in his cage, or
a tshirt that you have worn that will smell like you.  These things may
comfort him until he outgrows it.
 
Or... get him another ferret to keep him company!
