        To Chris concerning Scooter's urinary problem:
 
        Chris, if Scooter is urinating involunatirly, then it's time to go to
the vet (even if it is only a little bit).  I would suggest a urinalysis
including a microscopic exam of the urine, and a complete blood cell count on
the blood to see if evidence of infection is present.  And then a trial run on
antibiotics, most likely Ampicillin is in order.
 
        While it may still not be anything, if my experience is of any value,
it's far better to be safe than sorry, when dealing with urinary tract
infections in ferrets.
