We got 2 new, young ferrets after one of ours lost the battle with cardio
myopathy.  The 3 year old didn t want to have anything to do with the young
ones.  He ignored them or moved out of the way when they tried to instigate
a wrestling match.  It took a few months, but finally Ren started playing
back and even instigating his own wresting matches.
 
I say give them some time and see what happens.
