1. Could you all tell me what attachment you use on the electric meat
grinder so it does not get all clogged and messy? I am using the plastic
white one without the rotary removable blade. Is that the best I can do?
What a mess. Clogs. Very hard to clean the insides of the main body
housing the motor. Lost the only little screw on the front of it while
cleaning it tonight in the dirty litter right below.. darned if I can
find it.

I did not put the largest chicken bones in. The thing got clogged 7
times over 2 chickens as it was while I was experimenting. I am not
going to use a meat cleaver. But any other hints would be really
helpful.

2. The packets on chronic pain and fatigue are in the mail. I ended up
with a total of 30 going out. Do not cheat yourselves. This was a six
hour seminar; The best I have been to on this subject.

HINTS: You need to Start off with the proper sleep hygiene.

a. No ferrets or cats running all over you at night. ( I am down to
only 2 or 3 out at night. I love their stinky weasel beings in my face.)
I cannot have ANY out. sob. Gulp. I am addicted to them being out and
feeling a nose in my eye, or a nip on my ankle ... I do not know how I am
going to do this. I am serious.

b. No noisy ferret noises to wake you up. Get a sound machine or fan
if cage is in the room. No snoring husband in same room. You snore?
Get to sleep clinic. It is really a big thing here, and making a HUGE
difference in energy increase and pain decrease. The contraptions they
have that you can wear make a huge diff. in quality of sleep.

c. Not too many pillows, wear a guard if you clench or grind, no exercise
or coffee for at least 3 hours before bed. Go to bed at same time each
night. Light stretching. Walking at least 3 times a week for 30
minutes. Starbucks coffee has about 3 times the caffeine of others.
None at least 6 hours before sleep. Try 2 Valerian root an hour before
bed. Need peace. Good thoughts. Cup half full. Find joy in the little
things-ferrets, the beauty of sunrise on the fur of your ferret, the
musky smell of a sleeping ferret, the laughter that comes from watching
their antics... This really makes a difference.

Take a Warm bath. No reading or TV in bed.

d. **Omega 3 fatty acid*** Is necessary to take for chronic pain or
fatigue. I give ferrets flax seed oil liquid in their Bob c. soup.
You can get capsules for you. Or flax seed to put over your cereal, or
walnuts (these are the only nuts with it) Salmon raised at fish farm is
low in it. Need wild salmon. Only 1 can of tuna a week. Mercury levels
in it are bad.

e. Even though docs may not know how to help you-get a thyroid and blood
test and physical. Read the reference material in what I sent. There is
help on-line, books, and magazines and support groups.

f. Room must be pitch black. This is also good for ferrets according to
some..You want that night light so you do not step on a ferret? Then
wear one of those masks you put over your eyes. Pitch black darkness is
CRITICAL to get the proper sleep. Proper sleep hygiene is your first
step to help you stop chronic pain and fatigue, or to increase your
energy when awake.

No alcohol or tobacco. Overweight? Really significant factor here. Any
ferret fat farms out there?

Thank you all for all of your help over the years on the FML. I was
blessed to ever bring home a ferret. But having all of you in my life
has been a God send.

Now I need to find a support group for people addicted to ferrets in
their bed. Anyone want to start a support group? We could talk
ourselves out of leaving even one ferret out at night. I wonder if
I will be able to do this.
