Hi!

I've heard numerous mentions of people carrying their ferrets
around in bags that have litter boxes in them. How is this set up? For
the last two years we have carried our ferrets around in a sort of
satchel but every time they have to go to the bathroom we have to go
outside, stop what we're doing, get off the Skytrain etc... It's very
inconvienent(spelling?) to say the least!

On another note entirely, yesterday I caught Ruby climbing up the
screen door (on the inside pressed between the glass and the mesh) she
made it to the top - only inches from the ceiling - and then had no idea
how to get down. She hung there for a few minutes - the elusive ceiling
(most likely the goal of this climb) was unfortunately on the other side
of the screen- then she stared inching down, lost her grip and flew to
the ground. I was unable to catch her in time and was worried that she
might be hurt (although this is the ferret that fell off our third floor
balcony- but that's another story) anyways, before I made it to her, she
came dancing out, chortling her victory!

Oh to be a ferret, playing and sleeping all day,
food shelter and hugs/scratches/rubs readily available
                                and everything an adventure!
