Howdy all!

Greetings & salutations. Just wanted to extend an open invitation to
any ferret enthusiasts in the Roanoke VA area to come to the Star City
Ferret Clubs meeting this coming Saturday, July 14, '07 to be held at
the Williamson Rd Public Library starting at 1:00 p.m. For more info,

As for shelter updates, we are looking to place 35 ferrets needing
forever homes. If you would like to adopt a sweet ferret in need,

We also have several pending surgery when funds are available. We
recently had to re-home 16 ferrets from one of our foster homes that
had decided she no longer wished to foster; 7 of which had not yet been
in to see the Veterinarian. Their visits have since been taken care of
and now the shelter is in need of funds. We are holding a two day yard
sale fundraiser on July 21 & 22 in Roanoke. Anyone wishing to come by,
please email me and I'll make sure you get the address.
