Hi Sara,
I am not a shelter, but I have 11 ferrets.  Out of my 11, 4 have
reactions to shots every time.  My poor Bubba is the worse.  The last
time his reaction was immediate.  I was really glad the vet was prepared
for it.  So how does that figure into your 1 out of a 1000?  Am I just
unlucky?  Oh sure my babies don't try to escape out of the cage but have
reactions to shots.  Hmmmmmm which would I rather have?  (smile)
