a suggestion to Tammy Snapp, whose dad has a sensitive nose wrt the ferrets:
we use Resolve carpet cleaner on the floor, which really seems to get rid
of any odor - also, try using something like Smells Begone spray instead of
potpourri spray, it will chemically eliminate the odor rather than just
masking it with another smell.
