Alexandra Sargent-Colburn was discovered dead beside her laptop
computer early wednesday morning in her mother's vacation home in
Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. Mrs. Sargent-Colburn, a sometime contributor
to the FML, or Ferret Mailing List and columnist for Ferrets Magazine
was forty-four.

Mexican authorities have yet to declare a cause of death, although in
recent days Mrs. Sargent-Colburn had been distraught over a Ferret
Mailing list war of words concerning the otimal diet of the domestic
ferret.

Neighbours report hearing Mrs. Sargent-Colburn declare that if the
on-line controversy over "Raw VS Kibble" did not cease, she would,
quote "blow her brains out."

Mrs. Sargent-Colburn is survied by her husband of ten years, Dann,
two ferrets, one cat, one dog, and seven chickens. Arrangements are
in place with Mexican authorities to return the body to Massachusetts
for burial. As of yet, no funeral information has been released by the
family.
