We here in New England indeed mark the appearance of April 21st on
our calendars. Here at 42 north, it is the day that the Hated Black
Fly invades central Massachusetts. This article tries to describe the
impact of the Black Fly, but I assure you, the reality is dreadful
beyond words...It is also the birthday of Queen Elizabeth the II,
but she never invites me.

I will be busy nailing up sheets of plywood over my windows on that
date, so will be unable to chant in your direction at 9PM for further
advice about the possible addition of the Fleet enema to my ferret
home health kit.

Now the *20th*....that is a big day for a lot of people, too. Mostly
White Power Skinheads with "88" tatooed on their foreheads. Something
about "Heil Hitler" represented as two H's, the H being the eighth
letter of the alphabet. It's a big date for all the home frosting
companies like Durkee. You know, the little tubes of red frosting
you can use at home? Sales go through the roof, because supermarket
bakeries won't draw swastikas on their cakes. I'm serious. It was in
the news. I do note with some amusement that these two white trash
parents have such a poor command of Third Reich history that they named
their youngest daughter Honszlynn HINLER Jeannie Campbell instead of
Honszlynn HIMMLER Jeannie Campbell. At least they got little Adolf's
name right.

Many of us here in New England think that the Black Fly is god's way
of celebrating Hitler's birthday..as in...with a Biblical pestilence.
