Hi Ya'll,

OK, I give up. I will comprimise. I will use Maggie in the subject line
and Margaret for my signiture. I have gotten chewed out by way too many
people about trying to use Margaret again. They said it is too formal for
me. I haven't gone into the fact that until last year, I went by Margaret.
Then I was newly christened Maggie Mae by Bob Church. He has stopped using
it, so I thought I would also. But I think I have been outvoted. Can't
help it, always think of myself as Margaret. But I don't mind what anyone
calls me outside of two words. One is really horrible and nasty and the
other starts with a B. Only one person on this planet can get away with
calling me that, my dearest friend Gary. And only because I can call him
that. hehe.

I have been kinda quiet due to my own decisions. I have crashed big time
this week with the depression and when I get like this, no one should be
subjected to it. So all who have gotten really short letters, that is why.
I was hoping I would do better this year, but since the divorce, the
holidays are really hard. It is not having a family that does it, and not
having a lover, it is very hard to explain. No ties when all folks are
doing is talking about them. Plus, the 25th is my Mom's birthday. She was
my bestest friend in the whole wide world and even after 14 years I still
miss her. And then the anniv. of her mother's death is Dec. 7, which is
also the day my dear ex filed for divorce last year. Oh yeah, Daddy died in
October. And Mom died in Febuary. And I still am constantly suprised that
I have trouble with this time of year. HAH!

Last year I spent all the holidays alone, someone that promised they would
come over didn't. But this year I am having company and so that should help
me out a lot. Plus I am planning on visiting a friend in Wisconsin in
December. He is a really sweet man, much younger than me (wooh wooh!) and
really cute. I think that should be fun. Weather permitting.

But just wanted to let everyone know I am not ignoring them. It will just
be a bit before I write good letters again and am waiting till then.

BTW, on my email. My school account is still up and running and will be, it
is completely automatic through the school. HOWEVER, I cannot run the
software for it and the new account at the same time, at home. Conflicts
and locks up the pooter. You can get in touch with me through the school
account, but I will not respond as fast. I can check it at school once or
twice a week, but probably no more.

>Speaking as a Crazy Canuk, Yum Yum on both counts!!In Canada we add to da

Egads!!! Brussel sprouts, no way Jose, nope, nada, never. For veggies
think mashed taters, green beans or the best of all, black eyed peas. hehe.
But I least I know now who dem der Uppers talk like!! And yes, I make brown
gravy for everything, have to with cornbread dressing. And if anyone wants
to make said dressing, I will gladly send a recipe. It is really easy to
make.

And pecan pie is usually made at my house along with pumpkin, or used to be.
Don't eat pumpkin myself so why should I cook it? Of course, chocolate
pecan pie or pecan pie with bourbon is even better.

As for cats using paper instead of a litterbox, went through the same thing
myself. Except I used the puppy training pads. Ferrets loved em but so did
the cats. And trust me, it doesn't take much cat urine to soak one pad. I
finally quit using them, just went to litterboxes everywhere because of the
problem. People tend to think that cats only go in litterboxes unless sick.
Not so, they get mad and oops. They don't like the litter, oops. Just
cranky that day, oops. Used to have a cat who was attached to my ex. When
Alan would go on business trips, upon his arrival back home, Tao would wait
for him to sit on the bed and then spray his back with urine. This cat
never sprayed any other time, only when, ahem, pissed off.

Oh well, I think I have managed to ramble more than enough.

Margaret
