Most of you already know to check your ferrets's toys for damage on a
regular basis, but I thought I'd send an extra warning anyway. They will
hide their small belongings in the oddest and most difficult places to
reach; it is your job to get in those odd and hard to reach places and
judge if the destruction to certain toys warrants removal from the
ferretville in your home.

One toy my fur kids are not allowed to play with anymore is the
Rikki-Tikki snake toy-- you know, that green snake with the rattles,
squeaker, and pouch for treats to be tucked in? My fur kids will destroy
a new one over-night. Lance (He ate the twist tie in my last post) will
inevitably eat the rattles. Thank the ferrets above he chews well; they
always pass through.

Some ferrets may not be as destructive as my Lance, and these ferrets may
be able to have toys that he is not allowed to have. In either case, be
careful what your fuzzies have access to.
